Education and Experience in Hair Loss Treatment
Many people find comfort in knowing about their hair restoration doctor since they have to share so many personal aspects with him. Well here is your chance.
Prior to becoming a specialist in hair loss treatment, I was raised in Arlington, Massachusetts. I completed my B.A. at the University of New Hampshire and went on to the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine to earn my medical degree. I then interned in Pinellas Park, Florida, followed with a residency in Toledo, Ohio. Next, I completed a preceptorship in hair transplants surgery under the late Dr. C.P. Chambers at the Chambers Hair Institute facilities throughout the United States. It was there that I developed my hair restoration skill and knowledge about hair loss treatment. In 1989, I became board certified and was licensed to practice medicine in several states. I have hospital privileges at Roger Williams Hospital and Rhode Island Hospital, as well as surgical privileges in hair restoration and hair transplants in Rhode Island at South County Hospital.
I established my private practice as a hair restoration specialist in Providence, Rhode Island. There I remained, as the practice continued to grow as a result of my hair loss treatment achievements and reputation. I also became involved with several hair restoration administrative organizations and associations. I have served on a number of administrative boards, including the State of Rhode Island Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline. I have held leadership positions in several societies, including a Past-President of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, Past President of the Rhode Island Society of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, Secretary of the World Hair Society, Trustee of the University of New England, Trustee of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, among others. I have also stayed up to date on the latest technology in hair restoration procedures, and can perform hair transplants from my Rhode Island and Massachusetts offices. An avid traveler, I enjoy visiting the cities and countries where I lecture on hair loss treatment and hair transplants procedures throughout the world. I also enjoy water sports and alpine skiing.
