This affordable test is simple and highly accurate. Dr. Leonard simply swabs the inside of his patient’s mouth for several seconds. Analysis of the patient’s genetic variations related to pattern baldness is performed by HairDX, the Irvine, CA biotech company who manufacturers the test. Dr. Leonard will receive the results and can review them with the patient within a private and confidential setting. Potential treatment options and next steps can then be discussed.
